Join Staffordshire County Council’s Children’s Services as a Senior Practitioner, leading on complex casework and providing expert support to frontline social workers across the service.

Take responsibility for high-risk child protection, court proceedings, and care planning, ensuring that all interventions safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Provide mentoring, coaching, and professional guidance to less experienced practitioners, supporting the development of confident, skilled, and reflective social work practice.

Work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to deliver integrated, trauma-informed, and strengths-based support tailored to individual needs.

Contribute to quality assurance, including case audits and reflective learning, helping to maintain and improve practice standards across the team.
