Join Middlesbrough Borough Council’s Children’s Social Care team as an Advanced Practitioner, leading high-quality, evidence-based practice to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.

Take a lead on complex cases involving child protection, court proceedings, and children in care, ensuring all statutory responsibilities under the Children Act 1989 are met.

Provide practice leadership, mentoring, and support to social workers, promoting professional development and consistent, high standards of care.

Champion a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and child-centred approach, ensuring the voice of the child is embedded in all assessments and interventions.

Collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated and outcome-focused services, helping families build resilience and achieve sustainable change.
