Join Durham County Council to conduct statutory assessments for children and families, ensuring compliance with the Children Act 1989/2004 and safeguarding legislation.

Develop, implement, and review child-centred care and protection plans to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

Manage a varied and complex caseload, prioritising high-risk and time-sensitive cases while meeting all statutory duties.

Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, coordinating child protection enquiries and working closely with multi-agency partners.

Collaborate with professionals across health, education, police, and voluntary sectors to deliver integrated, effective support.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports in line with Social Work England standards and Durham County Council policies.
