Join Staffordshire County Council as a Senior Practitioner to lead on complex and high-risk cases, ensuring statutory duties are met under the Children Act 1989/2004 and related legislation.

Provide expert support and reflective supervision to social workers and students, promoting high standards of practice and continuous professional development across the team.

Develop, implement, and review robust, child-focused care and protection plans that prioritise safeguarding, stability, and long-term outcomes for children and young people.

Lead on safeguarding investigations, including Section 47 enquiries, strategy discussions, child protection conferences, and court proceedings.

Champion effective multi-agency collaboration with health, education, police, and voluntary sector partners to provide coordinated, wraparound support for children and families.

Ensure all recording and reporting is timely, accurate, and compliant with Social Work England standards and Staffordshire County Council policies, contributing to service improvement initiatives.
