London Borough of Wandsworth Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to support adults in inpatient and acute general medical settings. This role focuses on assisting with Best Interest Assessments (BIA), equipment provision, and adaptations to promote independence, safety, and patient-centred care.

Assist qualified occupational therapists with assessments and interventions in inpatient and acute settings.

Support patients with daily living activities, mobility, and functional rehabilitation.

Contribute to Best Interest Assessments (BIA), ensuring ethical and patient-centred decision-making.

Assist with the provision and fitting of equipment and adaptations to support independence and safe discharge.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care.

Maintain accurate records and participate in service audits and quality improvement initiatives.
