This role offers the opportunity to provide physiotherapy in an acute medical setting, focusing on patient assessment, rehabilitation, and discharge planning, while working closely within the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care.

Undertake physiotherapy assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adult inpatients in acute medicine.

Support patients with functional rehabilitation and provide equipment to optimise mobility, independence, and safety.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, attending board rounds to support effective care planning and discharge.

Develop and implement treatment plans and contribute to safe, timely discharge processes.

Provide support, guidance, and supervision to junior physiotherapists, assistants, and students.

Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance standards of practice.
