Role Overview:
Occupational Therapist / Senior Assessment Officer to assess citizens for eligibility for Blue Badge provision, including both visible and hidden disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and observations to determine eligibility under ‘subject to further assessment’ criteria.

Triage applications and carry out mobility assessments in clinic settings.
-
Recommend and provide walking aids/equipment where appropriate.
-
Signpost citizens to other relevant agencies.
-
Collaborate with agencies and stakeholders to plan and deliver services.
Experience/Skills Required:
-
OT or equivalent assessment experience.
-
Knowledge of mobility and disability assessment.

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
