We are seeking an experienced and strategic Service Manager to lead and develop high-performing children’s social care teams. This is a key leadership role, focused on driving service quality, managing resources effectively, and ensuring that children are safeguarded and supported to thrive.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Service Leadership: Provide operational management and leadership across designated children’s services, ensuring effective delivery in line with local and national priorities.

  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Monitor performance, oversee audits, and implement improvement plans to uphold and exceed statutory safeguarding standards.

  • Team Development and Supervision: Lead, inspire, and support team managers and practitioners to deliver reflective, strengths-based practice across all cases.

  • Multi-agency Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with health, education, police, and voluntary sectors to drive integrated, child-centred services.
