Role Overview:
- We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the legal frameworks governing medicines use and experience in developing, implementing, and auditing Patient Group Directions (PGDs).
- This role requires critical thinking to ensure PGDs meet all regulatory requirements and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure practice aligns with PGDs, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and audit PGDs in line with legal and clinical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with PGDs and supporting policies.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to support pharmacy practice.
- Effectively manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Utilise IT systems proficiently to support pharmacy operations and clinical governance.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of legal mechanisms governing medicines use.
- Experience with PGDs, including development, implementation, and auditing.
- Excellent IT skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage own time, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
