About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Radiographer, fully trained in CT and MRI, to join our imaging team 
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely scans to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of CT and MRI scans to a high clinical standard.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with local policies and manufacturer guidance.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures.
  • Accurately record, store, and manage images and patient data.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide an excellent patient-centred service.
Essential Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
  • Demonstrable experience in both CT and MRI scanning.
  • Proficient in using Cannon CT scanners.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Desirable Skills
  • Recent NHS experience in a CT/MRI department.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards.
  • Experience training or mentoring junior staff.
