View JobBristol City Council is currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Locum Qualified Social Worker to join its Adults Social Care team. This role focuses on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing through strengths-based, person-centred practice in line with the Care Act 2014.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake assessments and reviews under the Care Act 2014, ensuring eligible needs are identified and met.

Develop and implement care and support plans, promoting independence and choice.

Work with individuals with a range of needs, including physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and older adults.

Collaborate with health, housing, and voluntary sector partners to deliver coordinated support.
-
Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and contribute to Section 42 enquiries where appropriate.
