View JobWirral Council is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Adult Social Worker to join their Adults Services team on a 3-month contract. This role involves assessing and supporting adults with a range of care and support needs, safeguarding vulnerable individuals, and promoting independence within the community. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in adult social care and a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine adults’ care and support needs and develop personalised care plans.

Undertake safeguarding enquiries and manage risks in line with statutory guidance and Wirral Council policies.

Work collaboratively with health, housing, and community partners to coordinate effective support.

Review and monitor care plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
-
Provide advocacy and advice to service users and their families.
-
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records in accordance with local and statutory requirements.
