This pivotal role involves managing complex cases, supporting frontline practitioners, and promoting high standards of safeguarding practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive statutory experience and a proven ability to lead and mentor within a fast-paced safeguarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Hold a reduced caseload of complex and high-risk child protection cases.

Provide practice leadership, guidance, and support to social workers within the team.

Oversee and quality assure assessments, care plans, and safeguarding interventions.

Contribute to reflective supervision, case discussions, and service development.

Liaise with multi-agency partners to coordinate safeguarding responses and share best practices.

Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, Bolton Council procedures, and Ofsted standards.
