Join Cheshire East Council’s Children’s Services as a Qualified Social Worker, working to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people, and families across the borough.

Undertake statutory duties under the Children Act 1989 and related legislation, including child protection enquiries, assessments, care planning, and court work.

Manage a varied caseload involving children in need, those subject to child protection plans, and those in care or leaving care, applying a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach.

Collaborate with families, schools, health professionals, and other agencies to deliver integrated, multi-agency interventions that support positive outcomes.

Contribute to the development of practice through regular supervision, reflective learning, and peer support, within a council that promotes innovation and staff development.
