Ensure that each child’s care plan is legally compliant, up to date, and focused on achieving positive outcomes, with regular reviews and meaningful engagement.

Champion the voice of the child, ensuring their wishes and feelings are central to decision-making and planning processes.

Provide robust challenge and oversight to social work teams and partner agencies to drive improved standards and timely progress for every child.

Monitor care plans in line with statutory requirements under the Children Act 1989, IRO Handbook, and Care Planning Regulations, ensuring best outcomes and permanency.
