Surrey County Council is seeking a dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our forward-thinking social care team. As a QSW, you will take a lead role in case management, safeguarding, and working with vulnerable individuals to ensure their needs are met through person-centered support and services.

  • Position: Qualified Social Worker (QSW) – Surrey County Council

  • Location: Surrey, South East England

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage a diverse caseload, conducting thorough assessments and developing appropriate care plans for children, families, and adults.

    • Lead safeguarding investigations and take appropriate action in line with local and national policies.

    • Collaborate effectively with multi-agency teams, ensuring a holistic approach to service delivery and positive outcomes for service users.

    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and ensure compliance with statutory and council guidelines.

    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to less experienced social workers and other staff members.

    • Take part in ongoing professional development, training, and reflective practice to ensure high-quality service delivery and career progression.
