Join North Tyneside Council’s Children’s Services as an Advanced Practitioner, providing expert guidance, leadership, and support in the delivery of high-quality social work practice.

Lead on complex casework, including safeguarding, court proceedings, and children in care, ensuring compliance with the Children Act 1989 and related legislation.

Act as a practice leader and mentor, supporting the development of less experienced social workers through coaching, reflective supervision, and case consultations.

Promote a child-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach, ensuring the voice of the child is heard and acted upon in all planning and decision-making.

Support service improvement by contributing to quality assurance, peer audits, and the implementation of evidence-based practice models.
