Lead and manage a children’s social work team within East Riding of Yorkshire Council, overseeing service delivery across Child Protection, Child in Need, and Looked After Children cases.

Provide high-quality supervision, performance management, and professional support to social workers, ensuring safe, reflective, and effective practice.

Monitor and manage caseloads, ensuring timely completion of assessments, plans, and statutory interventions in line with legislative requirements and council policies.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement through quality assurance, audits, and reflective team learning sessions.

Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to drive effective safeguarding responses and improve outcomes for children and families.

Contribute to strategic planning, workforce development, and service transformation initiatives to enhance the delivery of children’s social care across the authority.
