This is a pivotal role ensuring the rights, safety, and well-being of children in care are championed and safeguarded, while promoting best practice and statutory compliance across all planning and review processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Champion the voice of the child: Lead statutory reviews for children in care, ensuring their voices are central to planning and decision-making processes.

Monitor care planning and performance: Oversee care plans, ensuring they are timely, effective, and compliant with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Promote best practice: Provide quality assurance and challenge practice across social work teams to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
