This pivotal role requires a strong and confident leader with a deep understanding of safeguarding legislation, procedures, and inter-agency working to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children.
Key Responsibilities:

Chair Child Protection Conferences in accordance with statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.

Ensure that child-centered, strengths-based, and outcome-focused planning is at the heart of all meetings.

Provide independent oversight and challenge to care planning and safeguarding practices across agencies.

Ensure timely and accurate documentation of conferences, including decisions and recommendations.

Work collaboratively with social workers, health professionals, education staff, and other stakeholders to promote best outcomes for children and families.
