View JobSouthwark Council is looking for a motivated and empathetic Adolescent Support Worker to join our dedicated team supporting young people across the borough. This front-line role is ideal for individuals with experience working with teenagers in challenging circumstances, even if not professionally qualified. You will be working closely with social workers, youth offending teams, and education providers to help vulnerable adolescents make positive choices and access the right support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and group support to adolescents at risk of exploitation, school exclusion, or offending.

Build trusting relationships with young people to encourage engagement, stability, and personal development.

Support young people in accessing education, training, housing, and mental health services.

Liaise with families, schools, and professionals to contribute to care plans and early intervention strategies.

Maintain accurate records of interventions and report concerns in line with safeguarding protocols.
