View JobBradford Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join their Child Protection team. The successful applicant will be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable children through effective assessment, planning, and intervention in accordance with statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 assessments to identify and respond to risks and needs.

Develop and implement Child in Need and Child Protection plans in partnership with families and agencies.

Prepare high-quality reports for Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Reviews, and court proceedings.

Participate in Legal Planning Meetings and attend court as necessary.

Engage in effective multi-agency collaboration to support positive outcomes for children.

Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records on the electronic case management system.
Requirements: SWE registration, right to work in the UK, and at least 2–3 years’ experience working in frontline statutory children’s services, particularly in child protection.
