Tripod Partners are looking for eight RMNs to join the Highfield Adolescent Unit in Oxford. This is a great opportunity to work within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) inpatient setting, providing care and support to young people experiencing complex mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing care and therapeutic interventions to young people within an inpatient CAMHS unit.
- Support and engage with young people and their families to ensure holistic care.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualised treatment plans.
- Manage challenging behaviours and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensure all safeguarding policies are followed to protect vulnerable young people.
- Participate in a 24-hour rota, including early shifts, late shifts, twilights, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Position Details
- Location: Oxford
- Setting: Inpatient CAMHS Unit
- Shifts: Various – Earlys, Lates, Twilights, Nights
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Pay Rates:
- Weekday: £21.56 per hour
- Night/Saturday: £26.79 per hour
- Sunday/Bank Holiday: £31.01 per hour
Requirements
- NMC registered RMN with experience in CAMHS or a strong interest in working with young people.
- Ability to work a full 24-hour rota including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills to manage challenging behaviours.
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Reliable, resilient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
