Job Title: Adult Mental Health Team Manager
Tripod Partners is seeking an Adult Mental Health Team Manager to lead and manage services at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in Witney. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to adults with mental health needs while driving service improvements and team development.
Position Details
- Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
- Pay Rate: £36.47 per hour
- Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to work unsocial hours as required.
- Duration: Ongoing
- Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, appraise, and develop team members while ensuring effective performance management.
- Oversee budgets, policies, and quality standards for the service.
- Manage staff workload, ensuring equitable distribution and high performance.
Service Development:
- Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care and operational efficiency.
- Foster innovation and develop new ways of working within the team.
- Participate in research, audits, and quality improvement projects.
Clinical Oversight:
- Ensure the team adheres to clinical governance standards and evidence-based guidelines.
- Address complex clinical cases and provide guidance on risk assessments and care planning.
- Support partnerships with other services, including inpatient wards and GP consortia.
Requirements
Essential:
- RMN, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology qualification.
- Significant experience in adult mental health services and team management.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and risk assessment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
Desirable:
- Advanced assessment skills training.
- Prince2 qualification or equivalent project management experience.
- Postgraduate clinical or management qualifications.
