This role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy in general medicine, rehabilitation, and reablement, with a focus on Best Interest Assessments (BIA) to ensure patient-centred, ethical decision-making.

Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adults in inpatient and community settings.

Support patients with functional recovery, independence, and reablement, including the provision of equipment and adaptations.

Contribute to Best Interest Assessments (BIA), ensuring decisions are patient-centred and ethically sound.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and effective discharge planning.

Provide guidance and support to junior staff, therapy assistants, and students.

Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance occupational therapy practice.
