This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy for adults in acute general medical settings, supporting recovery, independence, and safe discharge within a multidisciplinary environment.

Undertake physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for adult inpatients with a range of acute general medical conditions.

Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care and effective discharge planning.

Contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based treatment pathways and rehabilitation programmes.

Provide supervision, guidance, and support to junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.

Participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance clinical standards.

Engage in continuing professional development and reflective practice to develop specialist skills and maintain clinical expertise.
