Tripod Partners is currently recruiting for a Pharmacy Technician for an NHS service in Liverpool. This is an exciting temporary opportunity, offering competitive hourly pay between £18.00/£20.00 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with patient prescriptions.
  • Conduct medication audits and assist in the management of pharmacy stock, ensuring that all medication is stored appropriately and within safety guidelines.
  • Provide advice and support to patients regarding their medication and treatment plans.
  • Work alongside the clinical pharmacy team to ensure the safe, effective, and timely delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of junior pharmacy staff and students.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation and NHS guidelines.
  • Support the dispensing team with any technical or administrative duties required.

Requirements:

  • GPhC Registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Previous experience working in an NHS hospital or community pharmacy setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of NHS systems and protocols, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
