This senior role offers the opportunity to provide expert clinical care, service development, and leadership in supporting children and young people with complex swallowing and communication needs.

Deliver expert assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for paediatric patients with dysphagia and associated communication difficulties.

Provide advanced clinical leadership and act as a source of specialist knowledge across the paediatric speech and language therapy service.

Work in partnership with families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

Lead on service development, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives within paediatric SLT.

Offer supervision, mentoring, and training to junior therapists, assistants, and students to support workforce development.

Contribute to strategic planning and innovation within the Trust to enhance paediatric speech and language therapy provision.
