The role includes conducting Best Interest Assessments (BIA), supporting moving and handling, and recommending equipment and adaptations to promote independence and safety.

Conduct Best Interest Assessments (BIA) and deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions for adult inpatients.

Assess and recommend appropriate equipment and adaptations to support daily living and functional recovery.

Carry out moving and handling assessments and provide guidance to patients and carers.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised care plans.

Support patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life.

Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development and ongoing professional growth.
