Working collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will develop and implement strategies and solutions to enable safe mobility, reduce risk and promote quality of life.

Carry out detailed assessments of moving and handling needs in a variety of home and community settings.

Recommend, provide and review appropriate equipment and adaptations to support safe mobility.

Develop and deliver tailored moving and handling plans in line with individual needs and best practice guidance.

Work closely with service users, carers and professionals to ensure safe techniques are understood and applied.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in accordance with council and professional standards.

Contribute to training initiatives, policy development and service improvement relating to moving and handling.
