Job details:
2 x Community Occupational Therapists required to complete in-person assessments and reviews within the community.
All reviews must be completed face to face. One office-based day per week is required.
- Complete community-based Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews
- Undertake Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments
- Carry out manual handling assessments and risk assessments
- Assess and recommend assistive technologies
- Ensure all reviews are conducted face to face (no telephone reviews)
- Work in line with statutory duties and local authority procedures
Requirements:
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
- Experience within community and local authority settings
- Strong knowledge of Care Act and Mental Capacity Act legislation
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00
