Physiotherapist (Individual Shift)

 

Job Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Physiotherapist to work with The Disabilities Trust t/a Brainkind at Stagenhoe Park in Hertfordshire. This locum role offers flexible, individual-shift working arrangements within a specialist neurorehabilitation environment, supporting adults with a range of physical and neurological conditions.  

 

You’ll join a multidisciplinary team focused on helping individuals maximise their physical potential, independence, and quality of life through personalised physiotherapy interventions.

 

Key Responsibilities

– Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to adults with neurological or complex physical conditions.  

– Develop and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes focused on improving function, mobility, and independence.  

– Work collaboratively with occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.  

– Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.  

– Contribute to ongoing service improvement and uphold best practice in rehabilitation care.  

– Support patients and families with advice, education, and progress updates.  

 

About You

You’ll be a qualified, compassionate Physiotherapist with a passion for neurological and rehabilitation work. With sound clinical reasoning and strong interpersonal skills, you’ll deliver effective, person-centred care as part of a supportive therapy team.

 

Requirements

– Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification)  

– Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)  

– Previous experience in neurological, rehabilitation, or complex physical care settings (desirable)  

– Strong communication and teamwork skills
