Position: Deputy Manager – Community Mental Health Service for Adults
Location: Isle of Man
Pay Rate: £58 per hour
Contract Length: 6 months (24th February 2025 – 24th August 2025)
Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week
Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the Community Mental Health Service for Adults in the Isle of Man. This role involves leading a team of mental health professionals, ensuring high-quality care, and supporting service development.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide clinical leadership, service coordination, and operational management to enhance community-based mental health support for adults.

Key Responsibilities:
? Provide strategic and operational leadership within the Community Mental Health Service for Adults.
? Supervise and support a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality mental health care.
? Ensure the service operates in compliance with NHS policies, regulations, and best practices.
? Manage caseloads, service demand, and workforce planning to meet patient needs.
? Promote a patient-centred approach, ensuring individualised care plans and interventions.
? Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
? Liaise with external agencies, community partners, and healthcare providers to facilitate integrated care pathways.
? Participate in service audits, governance meetings, and performance reviews.
? Provide mentorship and professional development for junior staff.
Requirements:
? Registered Mental Health Professional (NMC, HCPC, or Social Work England)
? Proven leadership experience in a community mental health setting
? Strong knowledge of adult mental health services, risk management, and safeguarding
? Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
? Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
? Experience in service development, staff management, and policy implementation
