Clinical/Counselling Psychologist 

Tripod Partners are recruiting for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the team at St. George’s Hospital in Stafford. This is a temporary, full-time position, with some flexibility for part-time or hybrid working. The role involves delivering psychological interventions and consultations in a face-to-face setting, with the potential for one remote working day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for a diverse range of client groups, including those with psychosis, across various care settings.
• Exercise full clinical responsibility for clients’ psychological care and interventions, including within a multidisciplinary care plan.
• Provide consultation to other professional and non-professional groups.
• Employ complex methods of psychological assessment and intervention tailored to client needs.

Position Details:

• Location: St. George’s Hospital, Stafford
• Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (flexible hours and part-time options available)
• Rates: £36.45 per hour
• Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP

Requirements:

• Postgraduate doctoral-level training in clinical psychology accredited by the BPS or equivalent.
• Current registration/accreditation with an appropriate professional body and a valid practising certificate.
• Significant demonstrable experience as a qualified clinical psychologist, including working with diverse client groups and a full range of clinical severities.
• Experience in providing psychological care across outpatient, community, primary care, inpatient, and residential settings.
• Skills in complex psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation.
