Job Details:
Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to provide inpatient therapy support within the HomeFirst service and for patients transferred to escalation wards. The role involves working with adults in acute and general medicine, delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to support recovery and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physiotherapy assessments, treatment, and discharge planning for adult inpatients.

  • Support the HomeFirst service, enabling safe and effective patient transitions back into the community.

  • Deliver therapy input for patients moved to escalation wards.

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred care.

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist.

  • Previous NHS experience in acute and/or general medicine settings.

  • Strong clinical reasoning and patient management skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills.

Working Hours: Shifts, Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 16.00.
