Job Details:
Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to provide inpatient therapy support within the HomeFirst service and for patients transferred to escalation wards. The role involves working with adults in acute and general medicine, delivering high-quality physiotherapy care to support recovery and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide physiotherapy assessments, treatment, and discharge planning for adult inpatients.

Support the HomeFirst service, enabling safe and effective patient transitions back into the community.

Deliver therapy input for patients moved to escalation wards.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred care.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
Requirements:
-
HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
-
Previous NHS experience in acute and/or general medicine settings.

Strong clinical reasoning and patient management skills.
-
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
-
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Working Hours: Shifts, Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 16.00.
