University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on providing specialist occupational therapy across acute and rehabilitation settings, supporting patient recovery and independence.

  • Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients

  • Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes to support functional recovery and independence

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans

  • Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to meet individual needs

  • Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
