Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) is seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join its dynamic children’s therapy team on a 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established, multi-disciplinary service that supports children and young people to reach their full potential in everyday life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive, child-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions across a range of settings, including clinics, schools, and home environments.

  • Manage a varied caseload of children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs.

  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, and other professionals to create and implement tailored therapy plans that support participation and independence.

  • Provide specialist advice and strategies to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, and self-care activities.

  • Contribute to service delivery through accurate documentation, outcome measurement, and participation in audits or evaluations.

  • Support the supervision and mentoring of junior staff or students, and actively engage in professional development opportunities during the contract period.
