This position focuses on delivering high-quality occupational therapy for adults in acute general medicine, supporting recovery, independence, and safe discharge within a multidisciplinary setting.

Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adult inpatients with a range of acute general medical conditions.

Support patients to maximise independence in daily living activities and promote safe, timely discharge planning.

Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care.

Contribute to the development and delivery of effective occupational therapy pathways and treatment programmes.

Supervise, mentor, and provide support to junior staff, assistants, and students.

Participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement to maintain high standards of care within the occupational therapy service.
