Job details:
Specialist Occupational Therapist required to support the Stroke & Neuro Service.
The role is to start ASAP for an initial 12-week period.

- Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for patients within the Stroke and Neuro service
- Work with patients with complex neurological presentations in an inpatient setting
- Contribute to rehabilitation planning and delivery to maximise patient independence and recovery
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support safe and timely discharge planning
Skills / experience:

- NHS experience essential
- Experience working within Stroke and Neuro services in an inpatient setting
- Desirable: experience within community services and/or Early Supported Discharge (ESD) teams
Working hours:
Part time – 3.5 days per week
Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00
Days and hours to be negotiated
