View JobTripod Partners are looking for a Specialist Memory Assessment Nurse / RMN to join a Memory Assessment Service in Lancaster. The role involves providing specialist assessments, interventions, and referrals for individuals experiencing memory concerns, supporting the diagnostic process for dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialist memory assessments and contribute to diagnostic formulations.
- Provide expert knowledge on dementia care, treatment strategies, and interventions.
- Refer patients to appropriate services and agencies as needed.
- Identify and manage risk factors effectively.
- Act as a liaison between GPs and other services, ensuring coordinated care.
- Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to staff and trainees.
- Support the team manager in leading the Memory Assessment Service to deliver high standards of care.
Position Details:
- Location: Lancaster
- Duration: 3 months
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Pay Rate: £26.55 per hour
Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with NMC registration.
- Experience in memory assessment services and dementia care.
- Strong assessment, planning, and risk management skills.
- Ability to provide clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of dementia care strategies and referral pathways.
