We are seeking dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Workers to join our award-winning teams. Whether you’re newly qualified or experienced, you’ll play a key role in supporting children, young people, and families across Hampshire, helping to improve lives and outcomes through restorative, child-focused practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake statutory social work tasks including assessments, Section 47 investigations, child protection conferences, and care planning.

  • Build meaningful relationships with children, young people, and their families to support change and keep children safely at home where possible.

  • Collaborate with schools, health professionals, and other agencies to provide coordinated, wraparound support.

  • Prepare high-quality reports and present in multi-agency forums including legal proceedings, reviews, and panels.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker and registered with Social Work England

  • Knowledge of child development, safeguarding frameworks, and key legislation (Children Act 1989/2004)

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills

  • Experience in statutory children’s social work (preferred, but ASYE applicants also welcome)
