Join Staffordshire County Council’s Children’s Services as a Qualified Social Worker, delivering high-quality, statutory social work to safeguard children and support families across diverse communities.

Undertake assessments, child protection investigations, and care planning in line with the Children Act 1989 and local safeguarding protocols to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.

Manage a caseload involving children in need, children subject to child protection plans, and looked after children, using a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach.

Build strong partnerships with families, carers, schools, health services, and multi-agency teams to promote coordinated and effective interventions.

Advocate for the voice of the child to be central to all decisions and care plans, ensuring their lived experience shapes service delivery.

Work within a supportive council offering professional development opportunities, regular supervision, flexible working arrangements, and a commitment to staff wellbeing.
