Join Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Children’s Services as a Qualified Social Worker, supporting children, young people, and families through high-quality, child-centred social work practice.

Undertake statutory assessments, child protection enquiries, and care planning in line with the Children Act 1989, ensuring timely and effective interventions.

Manage a varied caseload including children in need, child protection cases, and looked after children, using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.

Work in close partnership with children, families, schools, health professionals, and partner agencies to deliver coordinated, multi-agency support.

Ensure the voice of the child is at the heart of all decision-making, advocating for their needs and promoting their welfare, safety, and long-term outcomes.
