Lead on complex and high-risk cases for Staffordshire County Council, including Child Protection, Looked After Children, and care proceedings, ensuring legal and procedural compliance.

Provide professional guidance, support, and mentoring to social workers and students, fostering reflective practice and promoting high standards across the team.

Conduct thorough assessments and develop outcome-focused care plans that prioritise the safety, wellbeing, and voice of the child.

Prepare and quality-assure analytical, evidence-based reports for court, child protection conferences, and looked after reviews.

Collaborate with families and multi-agency partners to coordinate effective safeguarding interventions and ensure holistic support.

Support service development through quality assurance activities, case audits, and involvement in training and team development across Staffordshire’s Children’s Services.
