Complete statutory assessments under the Children Act 1989/2004 on behalf of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, identifying risks, strengths, and needs to inform timely interventions.

Manage a caseload of children and families, including those subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, Public Law Outline (PLO), and Looked After Children (LAC) processes.

Develop and review outcome-focused care and support plans, ensuring the child’s voice is heard and reflected in all aspects of planning and decision-making.

Prepare high-quality reports and case records for legal proceedings, child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and other multi-agency meetings.

Work collaboratively with families and professionals across health, education, and other services to promote safety, stability, and positive outcomes for children.

Participate in supervision, reflective practice, and professional development, contributing to a supportive team culture and continuous improvement within Children’s Services at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
