Carry out high-quality assessments under the Children Act 1989, developing outcome-focused plans that prioritise children’s safety, stability, and long-term wellbeing.

Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring their voices are central to all decision-making and care planning.

Prepare and present clear, evidence-based reports for court proceedings, child protection conferences, and statutory reviews.

Work collaboratively with professionals in health, education, police, and the voluntary sector to ensure a multi-agency safeguarding approach.

Participate in supervision, reflective practice, and training to maintain high professional standards and contribute to continuous improvement in Derbyshire’s Children’s Services.
