Provide statutory children’s social care services for Cheshire West and Chester Council, working with families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children.

Carry out thorough assessments under the Children Act 1989, ensuring timely and effective interventions that prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children.

Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families, ensuring their voices are central to planning and decision-making.

Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and legal proceedings.

Work collaboratively with health, education, police, and other agencies to ensure coordinated safeguarding and support services.

Engage in reflective supervision, ongoing professional development, and continuous improvement of practice in line with Social Work England standards.
