We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Team Manager to lead a frontline children’s social work team. This pivotal role involves managing and supporting social workers to deliver high-quality, child-centred practice while driving continuous improvement and partnership working.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support your team: Provide effective management, supervision, and professional development for social workers to ensure high standards of practice and staff well-being.

  • Ensure quality and compliance: Monitor casework, review performance, and uphold statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities in line with legislation and Cornwall Council policies.

  • Promote collaborative working: Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools, health services, and partner agencies to improve outcomes for children.

  • Drive service improvement: Contribute to service development, participate in audits and inspections, and implement best practice across the team.
