Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) – Manchester Contract: Temporary (6+ months) Hourly Pay: £26 – £30 We are seeking four Band 6 Biomedical Scientists specializing in Cellular Pathology, Non-Gynae Cytology, and Adult Histology. Join a supportive team at an IBMS-accredited facility. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct specialized histology and cytology analyses.
Ensure compliance with IBMS and UKAS standards.
Support training and development for junior staff.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
IBMS-accredited Biomedical Science degree.
HCPC registration and Specialist Diplomas in relevant areas.
Evidence of continued professional development (CPD).
