Job details:  Community Neuro & Stroke Service. Increase of Workload. The team are looking for a specialist community neuro OT. The job is for a specialist community neuro OT in the BANES Community Neuro and Stroke Service Planned Neuro Rehab Team. The multidisciplinary team consists of OT, physio, SLT, psychology and rehab assistants. The team provides rehabilitation in the community for adults with complex long term neurological conditions. This includes people with MS, MND, Parkinson’s, stroke, neuro oncology and other neurological conditions. The aim of the service is to improve independence, health and wellbeing by supporting people in their home environment and local community. The service provides non- timed limited interventions which are goals led. The role includes assessment and management of complex posture and seating, interventions to support activities of daily living and vocational rehabilitation. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. 08.00 – 16.00 or 09.00 – 17.00.
