Job Title: Access to Records Officer (2 Roles)

Area: South East London Social Services

Salary: £negotiable

Job Type: Locum

Contract Length: Ongoing

 

Job Details:

 

  • 2x Access to Records Officers required for the Access to Information Team
  • Log and process Data Subject Access Requests (SARs) across Children’s and Adult Services
  • Support the team in reducing a backlog of SAR requests
  • Provide a comprehensive and effective access to records service to past and present service users requesting personal data
  • Work within statutory timescales and in accordance with current legislation, policy and practice
  • Champion data protection compliance and support staff to ensure safe, accessible and meaningful information handling
  • Administrative role – preference for candidates with Social Care and/or SAR experience due to the sensitive nature of the information
